Pray and love and pray and love

Those are the two things that kept ringing in my head as I watched an interview with Mother Theresa. I admit I had never really known how much impact she had on so many lives by just practicing these two things, to pray and to love. Just by her few words in an 8 min interview have I already received so much. These are a few of her quotes :-

'...but everywhere there are people. They may not be hungry for bread, but they are hungry for love and that is much harder to satisfy.'

'In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love.'

'Jesus said love one another. He didn't say love the whole world.'

'If you cant feed a hundred people , then feed one'

'we can't have peace in the world without peace in our own heart'

'Intense love does not measure it just gives'

'Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls'

'Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier'

'What we are doing are only but a drop in the ocean. But the ocean is made of drops. No?'

Now, how can you not be inspired by such words like these. I believe even as she has received so much recognition for her work she would only still be as humble as she was before and say 'I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world.'

'I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt only more love'
