FREEDOM

As the day of my freedom approaches, I must be lying if I told you I was not going to miss my dear parents because they are all parents should be(which makes it annoying sometimes).
You see, I live most of my life with rules and with boundaries and dad and mom play the role of enforcing these rules. Now, you might think I am being a total whack job but I take security and comfort in my rules and boundaries as I take security in my parents. haha.. cause they keep the bad people away. Also because guilt has always had its way with me when I do do something out of the rules and thus, I always remain the 'good girl'.
I admit curiosity has led me to chilly waters sometimes but I never go far. These restrictions have brought me to this point and I am nothing but a happy child, very reluctant on leaving my comfort zone.
So, don't be too worried mom/dad, I'll be good and eat my fish and vege and meet my curfew and also make John eat his fish and fruits. I know your trust in me is on the line during these 3 weeks and I promise you, I will not dissapoint :) Now go and have 3 weeks of fun filled relaxation. Love you !

Blues Clues

I've started to miss Malaysia for some odd reason. Just thought you people up there should know tht :P
I still remember you guys ok. Once in awhile I open up my secret shoebox in which I keep all my treasured possesions; letters, cards, name tags, presents, tickets, brochures and other randoms. Each one holding memories that I never wish to forget. Every letter I read brings fresh memories, to when it was given, the time I read it, the people, the sights. I remember it all. Sigh. Everyone should write more letters.
Some of the letters in there in particular were read in the plane on the 20th of Jan at 9.00pm. How much of an idiot I must have looked like then, balling my eyes out as I read each of them over and over again. Sigh, sadface much.
As life keeps moving, I guess I'll go ahead and join him/her/it but lets keep the memories on a stand still :)
Love yous !
*ay-am kam-bing beg* !

Maths Dyslexia

When one suffers from 'maths dyslexia' during an exam a useful way to waste time is to right messages on your friends class pad.
Now you may not agree with that but my friend sure did. It was hilarious when she handed my calc back to me after our Maths exam today filled wtih messages to me just cause she couldnt be bothered answering the rest of her questions after suffering from 'Maths Dyslexia'. So lets look to the future, instead of passing lame notes, do it the Gen-Y way ! and type !
Have fun all you exam takers :)

Spring Fun

Theres no other way to spend a warm and sunny spring day than to have some guests while enjoying light lunch.
The Lee's found themselves buzzing like bees today trying to prepare lunch substantial enough for 4 hyperactive kids and 9 adults. It was a tad chaotic but nothing us Lee's couldn't handle.
I had much fun entertaining the adorable kids. We rolled around in the backyard, played dead, played baddy with tennis balls, and roared like lions while embracing Mr.Sun and sucking on our ice cubes. We had much fun. Nothing beats a day out on a warm Spring day.

You gotta let go to realise what you've got.

2 corinthians 12:9-10

9But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 10That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

This verse is responsible for keeping me sane and hopeful through my first 10 months in the land unknown and its still keeping me sane now. I hope you're encouraged by this verse :) SMILE !

J.A.K.D

Sometimes the most special moments can be shared at the top of a stairwell or in the darkness of a toilet. All in all, its the company that matters ;)

TEEN ARRESTED AFTER ASSAULTING POLICE

A 18-year-old female has been arrested on the shores of Port Fairy after she apparently physically assaulted a police officer for questioning her opinion on the colour of her car

Police say that the girl was pulled over late last night when they noticed her high beam on in the center of town. The girl was accompanied by two 16-year-old girls.
After completing specified procedures by the police officer, Sergeant Gold, he proceeded to question the 18-year-old about the colour of her car as it is reported that it was a vague colour, somewhere between silver and gold. The girl was taken aback as she too was not sure of what it was. Sergeant Gold says that she had suggested the colour 'Champagne' and proceeded to make jokes about 'not drinking' Champagne earlier on and boldly dared the police to check. Police say Sergeant Gold became suspicious of their behavious and questioned the girl if she did drink. An argument broke out between them when the girl said she felt shocked and insulted. The argument escalated when the 18-year-old slapped Sergeant Gold across the face.
Fortunately, Sergeant Gold and his partner managed to take control of the situation and successfully arrested the girl on the basis of assault to a police officer. Further investigations are underway on the cause of this sudden attack by the 18-year-old. The two 16-year-old passengers were returned safely to their guardians.

This lead story is based on a true story somewhere out there but the characters are totally fictional. (Its for school) -in joke-

Choose LIFE

I participated in my first ever protest today on the parliament steps of Melbourne, protesting against the passing of the abortion bill that is on the brink of being passed in the upper house. That just sounded like a blarge of words to me, in simple words, they were about to make abortion at 24 weeks legal and that it was necessary for doctors who are unwilling to do the procedure to refer the 'patient' to some other doctor. If the doctors do not do so, they have a high chance of being sued. Which I think is rubbish. There are other stuffs too but go google.
As you can see up top, it was all you imagine a protest to be ,place cards, signs, parliament, police, even the ambulance came and ofcourse lots of people. 5000 would be about right. The atmosphere was great and everyone there did look passionate about this bill being defeated which was so inspiring, but this protest unlike other was different, there was prayer and worship and christians from various churches, far and near gathered in one place speaking and enforcing the law of our God.
Prayers were prayed and hands were raised and anyone could feel the power that was working in that place. All glory and honour to our God. Who was and is and is to come .Amen? AMEN

I am so honoured to have been part of the protest and I will continue to pray for the bill not to be passed in the parliament this week. If you guys have the time, spare some time to pray for God's law to prevail in this abundant land.
Thanks yous very munch :)

Psalm 139: 13-16

13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

Those who are for abortion are already born
