After a long uneventfully annoying day ,theres nothing better than to receive some extra love from the place you miss the most ....Snail mail takes the cake ANYDAY .Snail mail is a chunk of oreo cheese cake after a messy break up ,an Ogawa chair after a tiring day ,a cup of hot Milo-O on a cold winters day ,caramel popcorn during a good movie , and a good msn convo with your closest buds .You get my drift ? haha ...It is is absolutely OHSEMM .

Chinese+Aussie=Cheesie

Easter was spent up in ....somewhere .....there .....( I have no idea where we went) with the Bread of Life church (Chan's and Pillai's church) .The camp was really great ,I have never been so happy to see so many people speaking in authentic Malaysian accents ,laughing and joking and being absolutely nonsensical as Malaysians do .Yes ,there were few Aussie born asians around but I have and incling that the Malaysian culture from everyone else had seeped in making them as Malaysian as ever .

I would list down all the highlights of camp but there were just too many ,and I do not know where to start from .Okay ,i'll just pick something random .Campfire ! Yeah they had this campfire going on and it was definitely godsent with the chilly weather nowadays .The campfire wasn't a highlight but the outrageous belting of campfire songs definitely were .One and a half hours spent ,fully devoted on scaring every living creature away from the campsite with our 'mighty' voice .From 'Rasa Sayang ' to 'Pretty Woman' and 'Que Sera Sera' and somehow 'Negaraku' ,we sang it all till we were smokey and our feet stained with charcoal .Amazing nonsense it was .

Later in the night ,some girls decided to pull a prank on the guys and somehow I got involved (still have no clue how I did ).Anyways ,we had to spend HOURS waiting for every guy to go to sleep before being able to pull the prank succesfully .Might I add ,it takes AGES for men to sleep .Whats wrong with you all la ! After a good 3 hours of wait and restlessness and running to the toilets to hide we were finally able to tie the guys rooms together and sleep at 4.30am .Ridiculous hour to sleep ...The stories the guys told the next day were priceless .

A church camp wouldn't be a church camp without worship and sermons ,would it ? The sermons about our limitless God were so inspiring .Imagine being a child to the King of kings and the creator of the universe .How awesome to be able to be called the children of an infinite God let alone be made in His image .The creator of the stars and humans ,of space ,nature and air .How great is our God .

Infinite:-Limitless ,if you think of infinity as having a start you have already underestimated infinity ,infinity has no border ,no start nor an end .

I would elaborate a lil more on camp , on the board games and frisbee and 'speed' and easter eggs but its getting awfully late and I need precious sleep before dad makes a ruckus in the morning again . Selamat Malam ...

For the princess in you

Do you know Easter is really big here ? oooooh , jakun .Lol .So anyways ,as the last day of school and Easter coming up and all ,we were assigned people in our class to give something to ie; Easter eggs/bunnies .It isn't the hardest thing to do over here since supermarkets are packed with easter eggs and bunnies .So ,I got this guy Tom Nagle as my person .A fairly small skinny fellow ,with enough energy in him to light a small town .He is nice too .
Back to the point ,me being me in a shopping mood with Daddy's cash in hand I decided to get something special .After a careful search for the perfect egg ,I spotted the "Disney Princess Egg" . (Now everyone goes *oooooooohhhhh ....I wannn*) I thought it would be reli funny ,so I gave it to him the next day with a note saying "For the 'princess' in you" .He thought it was cool and proceeded to eat it , a few seconds later he comes running to me screaming "There's something in it !!!" .Low and behold , the egg was a collectible kinda thing and there was a miniature Sleeping Beauty doll inside .I forced him to keep it .MUAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA ..... I'm so proud of that egg .....

For 1 hour on the 29th of March 2008 major cities around the world including Dublin , Bangkok ,Copenhagen ,Manila ,Melbourne ,Chicago and Sydney are turning their lights off for 1 hour as a powerful message about the need for action on global warming.

Last year ,iconic landmarks such as the Sydney Harbour bride, the Sydney opera house and 2100 major companies(Coca Cola,Macdonalds) joined in the movement and flicked the switch.Through that one hour ,the cities usual energy in take was reduced by 10.2% .That is equivalent to taking 48000 cars off the road .

2.2 million joined in the global movement last year .

There is gonna be more this year .

Last night I was given a new nick name ,Joy-Jane ... The only reason for this is because one of my Aussie friends kept calling me Joy for some odd reason ... Apparently ,she has a friend named Joy who has black hair .She does not look like me ,have the same hair style as I do or even have my surname .She just has black hair .Thats all , just black hair .Is it clear to you now how rare it is to find a black haired girl here ? haha , I'm not really complaining just making a statement .But that is only the first part of the nick name .

Later in the night after the youth meeting .Ooops, forgot to mention the youth meeting . The local church had a youth meeting at the house of the youth leader,Chloe .We had a swim in the pool and had worship and ate (do note that i did not use "makan " ,"makan" is in a WHOLE new league). ANyways , after the youth meeting Chloe gave a few of us a ride back home .Little did I know ,Chloe picked up on the "Joy" calling and started calling me "Joy" as well ,again for no apparent reason and there after the girls in the car started talking nonsense and somehow concluded that I would be Joy-Jane and therefore J.J just because I was supposedly "happy" .Happy Jane I am ! So much for picking up on "Janey Waney"
