Friday is crazy day

Why is it frowned upon to overspiritualize stuff ?? I don't get it !Honestly, isn't God creator of the freaking universe !? Haven't we said all our lives how awesome he is and how he deserves everything because we didn't deserve it in the first place ? Then why doesn't He deserve to have a place in our daily conversations ? Everyone always steers away from religion and God and stuff and thats not only with non christian friends but with fellow believers.

Are we ashamed of the one who created us ? The one who gave us life? The one who knows US the most ? The one we sing and clap and jump and shout as being worthy ?The one we call Lord.

He sacrificed his only son for us screwed up people. And Jesus out of the love he had for us, did as he was told eventhough he knew the pain he had to endure.He paid the FULL price so we did not have to .As Pastor .Jeremy said ,sometimes as asians we always try to find the bargain in things so we don't have to pay the full price .We try to make lame excuses so that things don't have to be so hard. But think about it ,what if Jesus DID NOT pay the FULL price ? How much in a hole would we be in .

Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."Matthew 26:38-40

I mean Jesus is royalty ! He is the SON OF GOD . There is no higher authority .Name above all names as we say, sitting on the right hand of the Fathers throne .

Unfortunately, all of us fall into this wave of peer pressure and culture of what is 'appropriate' and 'inappropriate' and because everyone is afraid to step up, we just hide in the shadows and float. Blarghh ...
